If you come to Las Vegas, be sure to see and do the following things while you are there:
The Las Vegas Strip traditionally includes Las Vegas Boulevard from Sahara Avenue to Russell Road. At one end stands the Mandalay Bay hotel and at the other end is the Stratosphere Hotel.
The Mandalay Bay has its own aquarium and beach, and the Stratosphere has the tallest free standing observation tower in the US. In-between there are other themed hotels like the Bellagio with its fountains, the Luxor and its pyramids, and the Eiffel Tower at Paris Hotel.
The Venetian Canals
Get the taste of at The Venetian Hotel, which features gondola rides on its version of the Venice canals. Plus, there are singers, living statues, stilt walkers and more. Or head to the hotels casino, or the Guggenheim Museum inside, along with a wax museum and theater, plus great eating venues. The hotel is on the Strip.
Bellagio Casino and Fountains
Also along the is the Bellagio Hotel. It’s where the World Poker Tour is hosted, and it has the usual table games and slot machines. The massive fountains go off every 15 to 30 minutes with a cool light and water show. It also has an art gallery, botanical gardens, restaurants,, spa and more.
The Hoover Dam spans the Colorado River and the Black Canyon. It is a National Historic Landmark with Lake Mead inside and is the largest water reservoir in the US.
The Mob Museum offers lots of information on the gangster era of the 20th century. There are 12 exhibits where you can learn about these notorious gangsters.
The Neon Museum is dedicated to the history of the neon signs of old Las Vegas, and has about 450 of them for people to see during a one hour tour.
